Let me introduce to you my OAP Yorkshire Terrier. Sam is nearly 14 years old and  his sight and hearing is starting to go. Sam took not well just over 2 years ago when he took a bad viral infection which men't we nearly lost him but he made a miraculous recovery and is now nicknamed Miracle Dog, we honestly thought we were going to lose him as he had never been the same since he lost his mum, Cassie, but he pulled through in the end. Sam sadly lost another of his wee friends in July 2009 (Kelsey) he is lost without her but enjoying all the attention now. Sam just likes to sit back and watch the Rough Collies play as they are too old now to join in.
